Intensive Airstrikes Target Houthi Military Positions Across Multiple Yemeni Governorates
A wave of intensive airstrikes targeted Houthi military installations and strategic facilities across several Yemeni governorates on Thursday, marking a significant escalation in ongoing regional military operations.
According to local sources, the aerial campaign spanned the governorates of Saada, Marib, Al-Jawf, Taiz, Sanaa, Ibb, Raymah, Al-Bayda, Abyan, and Hodeidah. In Hodeidah, strikes hit the international airport and nearby barracks, while in Ibb, operations targeted the 55th Armored Brigade headquarters in Yarim, a site reportedly utilized by Houthi forces for ballistic missile deployments. Additionally, communication infrastructure was reportedly struck in the Al-Sayyani district of Ibb and the Kusmah district of Raymah.
The strikes further extended to telecommunications networks in the Bani Matar district of Sanaa and various military sites in Al-Bayda. In the latter, reports indicate that weapons depots and positions in the Jamil, Jarjara, and Al-Nasreen mountains, as well as Jabal Al-Adhimiyah and areas in Mukayras, were successfully hit. Operations in Saada focused on the Dhahir, Safra, and Al-Salem regions, which have been subject to sustained military activity.
Military operations also persisted in the governorates of Marib and Al-Jawf, alongside active fronts in Taiz. In these areas, the strikes targeted Houthi military concentrations, supply routes, and armored assets. The intensification of these operations underscores a broader strategic effort to degrade the group's operational capabilities across multiple fronts simultaneously.
While the scale of the aerial campaign represents a notable expansion in military activity, a consolidated report regarding human or material casualties remains unavailable. Authorities and local observers continue to monitor the situation as the impact of the strikes on Houthi infrastructure is assessed.
