Yemeni Govt Forces Strike Houthi Positions in Marib, Al Jawf

Yemeni government forces conducted extensive drone operations targeting Houthi positions and movements in the Marib and Al Jawf governorates on Tuesday.

Military sources reported that these operations resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Houthi fighters. The strikes also led to the destruction of rocket launchers, artillery positions, and military vehicles, including trucks and bulldozers used for digging trenches. Additionally, armored vehicles and communication networks were reportedly damaged.

In Marib, sources indicated that various areas experienced what was described as indiscriminate artillery shelling by Houthi militias. However, independent confirmation regarding the extent of casualties from this shelling could not be independently verified.

The report comes amid heightened military activity, with other related news indicating the National Resistance thwarting a major Houthi offensive on the West Coast, and government forces repelling a Houthi infiltration attempt east of Taiz, leading to the capture of several militia members.
