Houthi militia forces launched a ballistic missile attack on a residential neighborhood in Al-Khokha district, Al-Hudaydah Governorate, on Thursday, marking the latest escalation in targeting civilian infrastructure along Yemen's western coast.

According to the military media of the National Resistance, the projectile impacted near a community prayer site and a local school. While the explosion destroyed an unoccupied residential property and caused significant structural damage to surrounding facilities, no casualties were reported. The incident nonetheless triggered widespread alarm among local residents, particularly vulnerable groups including women, children, and the elderly.
