Yemeni Military Spokesman Accuses Houthi Militia of Targeting Civilian Infrastructure

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Majid Al-Nuzaili has accused the Houthi militia of intensifying attacks against civilians and critical national infrastructure, asserting that the group employs Iranian-supplied missiles and drones to enforce a blockade on the Yemeni people while falsely claiming to be the victim of one.

In an official statement released via his social media account, Al-Nuzaili characterized the militia's recent aggression as a retaliatory measure following significant losses sustained on the battlefield. He stated that the group is systematically targeting the nation's vital resources, transport hubs, and the livelihoods of its citizens to compensate for its ongoing failures in military confrontations.

The military spokesperson detailed a series of recent attacks, noting that the militia struck Aden International Airport with a ballistic missile and targeted Al-Rayyan International Airport in Mukalla with three ballistic missiles. Additionally, the militia carried out an assault on a manufacturing facility in the Bir Basha district of Taiz.

Al-Nuzaili emphasized that this hostile conduct reflects the desperation and strategic confusion currently plaguing the militia as their front lines collapse. He maintained that these criminal actions will not provide the group with an escape from their current predicament.

The spokesperson concluded by affirming that the "Dawn of Yemen" military operation will continue with resolve until its objectives are fully realized. He reiterated the commitment of the armed forces to dismantling the Houthi project and restoring the authority of state institutions across the country.
