Yemeni Armed Forces Neutralize 800 Houthi Combatants in Major Offensive

The internationally recognized Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they conducted 1,417 precision strikes over the past 24 hours under the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, resulting in the neutralization of approximately 800 Houthi militia members and the destruction or disablement of over 190 military vehicles and combat assets.

Military spokesperson Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili stated that the operations utilized a combination of fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, field artillery, and rocket launchers. The strikes targeted Houthi troop concentrations, reinforcements, fortified positions, firing points, armored vehicles, and drone launch sites.

According to Colonel Al-Nuzaili, the tactical strikes successfully disrupted the militia's movements, hindered the deployment of reserves to the front lines, and prevented the insurgents from achieving strategic objectives. The offensive also resulted in the destruction of key defensive fortifications and artillery emplacements.

In the eastern sector, government forces continued to clear enemy positions and expanded their territorial control, successfully securing a new tactical field site. Meanwhile, in the southwestern province of Taiz, government troops repelled multiple, sustained waves of Houthi attacks, supported by precision airstrikes that inflicted significant casualties on the militia’s ranks and equipment.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed that all operations are directed at legitimate military targets in strict accordance with international humanitarian law. The military leadership further issued an urgent appeal to residents in Houthi-controlled areas to protect their families from forced recruitment campaigns and the militia’s practice of deploying personnel into active combat zones.
